The town of Ratnagari, in South Coastal Maharastra is famous for Mangoes. R. W. Bro. Vasudeo Jamnabihar Masurekar, who saw the light of our world on Wednesday, 24th March 1954, considers himself fortunate to have been born in Ratnagari, the birth place of our most Revered Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, a reformist freedom fighter, also a rare and a precious Jewel in the Crown of India.

He is a Law graduate (Bombay University), and has done his post graduate diploma in Management Studies from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management.

Married to petite Vrushali they are the proud parents of Akshay, a commerce graduate, proficient in Japanese language and working with Cactus Communications as Senior Manager and of Rujuta, a commerce graduate pursuing further studies in Law.

R. W. Bro. Vasudeo Masurekar is a practicing Lawyer since 1978 and a sought after advisor to many Corporates and is a Director in several Companies, and is a Trustee of Gurukulam Endowment Trust, Shirdi. His passion continues for Wine Grapes cultivation and Wine making.

He saw the light of freemasonry at the age of 30, in 1984, in Lodge Sohrab Davar No. 113. He soon with his proficiency rose up to the highest level.

R. W. Bro. Vasudeo Masurekar was declared as the next Regional Grand Master of the Regional Grand Lodge of Western India at the Grand Festival at Varanasi on 26th November 2005 by M. W. Bro. Arun Chintopanth,OSM, MW the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of India. He succeeds our very popular RGM, R. W. Bro. Govindlal Shahu, OSM.
